Responsible Gaming
Deposit, loss and session limits, cooling off and self-exclusion, with exactly how fast each one takes hold and which of them support cannot undo.
- Tightening applies instantly
- Loosening waits 24 hours
- Cooling off from one day
- Self-exclusion from six months

The tools, and how fast each one bites
All of them sit in the account settings. Tightening applies at once.
| Tool | What it does | Takes effect | Reversible |
|---|---|---|---|
| Deposit limit | Caps what can be added per day or week | Immediately | Loosening waits 24 hours |
| Loss limit | Stops play once net losses reach the figure | Immediately | Loosening waits 24 hours |
| Session limit | Closes the session after a set time | Immediately | Yes |
| Cooling off | Locks the account from one day to six weeks | Immediately | No, it runs its term |
| Self-exclusion | Closes access for six months or longer | Immediately | No, support cannot lift it |
If gambling has stopped being a choice, the Malaysian Mental Health Association takes calls and does not charge. Talking to live chat about a self-exclusion is also a reasonable first step, reachable from our contact page
Why loosening a limit waits a day
Tightening a limit applies the second it is saved. Loosening one deliberately waits 24 hours, so the decision is never made in the middle of a losing session, which is precisely when it would be made.
That delay cannot be waived by support. It is the one setting on the account that staff have no ability to override, by design rather than by policy.
Signs that are worth acting on
Three matter more than the rest: raising the stake to win back a loss, funding an account with money that was meant for something else, and hiding how long a session ran from the people you live with.
None of those is a character flaw and none needs a diagnosis to act on. A cooling-off period of a week costs nothing and is reversible only in the sense that it ends on its own.
